Head of eProducts
Major Responsibilities
Analyze market intelligence and take appropriate strategic implementation actions to identify the potential of existing services and introduce changes as part of the overall life cycle management of eProducts
Oversee development of a detailed roadmap on a quarterly basis in line with business plan and translate customer insights into innovative concepts
Devise an effective distribution strategy for product through continuous reevaluation of existing distribution channels and revamping as required
Measure performance of Vas and data through periodic reviews and align with company’s overall business & segmentation strategy
Develop & maintain an understanding of customer segments, market and section performance
Work with marketing – business strategy and strategic projects to ensure market research, analysis and competitive intelligence
Review gap analysis based on the data and measure it in lieu of industry averages and pre-defined benchmarks
Support all marketing sub sections about product development, support and evaluate products offered by third party vendors
Track performance of product against product plan and ensure timely execution of campaigns of existing Vas services and data for leveraging maximum revenue potential
Review daily reports on service revenue and subscriber usage statistics and set weekly broadcast direction and supervise development of specific campaigns
Ensure development detailed plans in support of approved strategies, organize required resources, monitor and periodically report progress of plans
Required Academic Qualifications
MBA or Master of Computer Science from any reputed UGC approved institute
Required Experience
10 – 12 years of total experience with 7-8 years of experience within telecom sector with a proven track record in Vas and data product development and developing and administering marketing programs
Required Knowledge & Skills
Good understanding of the telecommunication industry, market and environment
Sound understanding of the commercial unit and especially through knowledge in marketing and all it’s respective functions,
good analytics and problem solving ability clubbed with decision, making project management and consumer insight
Strong knowledge in product & pricing, data and Vas portfolio management
Experience in data and Vas Communication (ATL & BTL)
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Good commercial acumen
