✫✫ Job @ Bangladesh Center for Communication Programs (BCCP) Internship
Bangladesh Center for Communication Programs (BCCP), under its partnership with the USAID-funded global Health Communication Capacity Collaborative Project, is looking for young, dynamic, energetic students from Masters Program in Public Health/Development Studies/Mass communication / Marketing or other degrees related to the use of communication for social change and development to recruit as student interns. This internship will provide the students a hands-on experience of using the communication theories and approaches learned in the classroom.
BCCP, a successor to Johns Hopkins Center for Communications Programs, USA Baltimore, is a leading strategic communication organization providing one-stop communication services in the social development sector both in Bangladesh and in the Asia region. Number of Positions: Three (03) Duration: 6 months Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support in developing communication and promotional materials
Assist in pre-testing communication messages and materials
Assist in updating and organizing eToolkits
Prepare content for website and upload
Work with BCCP research team and assist in conducting various communication studies and assessments
Assist in developing digital archive
Provide internal knowledge management support
Assist with entering data and cataloguing materials into a database
Take meeting minutes as needed
Assist program staff in organizing workshops and meetings, including preparing invitations, confirming attendance, documenting meetings, and other logistical support needed
Review and archive files and other program information
Any other support required by the project management.
Currently enrolled in Public Health/Development Studies/Mass communication / Marketing or other relevant areas.
Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal and communication skills, both in written and spoken English and Bangla
Ability to think creatively
Excellent writing skills
Computer literacy (MS Office Suite, desktop publishing/design), and willingness to learn additional programs, if necessary
Interest in health communication programs or research
International experience is an asset.
Students have to apply through their respective program faculties as this internship will be linked to their Master’s program and they will earn credit for this.
Selected interns will be required to submit monthly reports as well as an internship completion report to BCCP and also to their Master’s program advisor.
This position is based in Dhaka, with field visits to different areas of Bangladesh. Salary and benefits:
