Position: Finance Manager
No. of Vacancies: 01 Job Description / Responsibility NETZ Bangladesh is looking for a Finance Manager for its ‘Strengthening of Marginalized Tenant Farmers to Overcome Structural Poverty in Areas with High Rates of Malnutrition’ Project implemented in Bangladesh and India by the partner NGOs. S/he will be responsible to lead the project finance, guide and mentor staff of NETZ and PNGOs and prepare financial report for the project. The project will continue till 30th April 2018. Based on the good performance of the incumbent the NETZ management may further extend the service.
Ensure coordination, communication and timely submission of periodic financial reports to CO, HO and donors,
Monitor proper utilisation of grant fund, ensure compliance of the contract with back donor and ensure financial support to the project for successful implementation. These include supporting the efficient use of the project's financial and material resources. Preparation and analysis of project budgets.
Monitor and audit PNGO fund in a timely manner.
Check 100% vouchers of expenses being made at PNGOs.
Present different options for multi-year budget and revise them accordingly.
Train PNGOs staff on budgeting and finance including software base accounts system.
Assist the Head of Finance to deal with the internal/external audit as and when required.
Make useful suggestions/recommendations to Head of Finance and Country Director to take necessary actions in regard to minimize the project costs both at the PNGO level and NETZ Country Office level.
Job Nature: Full-time Educational Requirements:
B.Com (Honours) and Masters in commerce faculty, preferable in Finance/Accounting; CA.CC/ ACCA partly qualified will get preference
Minimum 5 year(s) in the reputed national / international organisations with partnership management skills

Computer skill (word processing, spreadsheet or other FMIS)
Good written and oral communication skills in English and Bangla

Knowledge on general administration
Ability to plan and optimum use of available resources
Experience on revolving loan fund and asset transfer programme to extreme poor will be an added advantage
Salary Range:60,000 – 90,000 BDT per month Job Location: Dhaka with frequent field visit Apply Instruction:
