United International University (UIU) invites applications from suitable candidates for immediate appointment to the following positions:
Office Manager
Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
  • Master’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Education 
  • Working experience with teaching-learning/pedagogical process is highly preferable
  • Experience in organizing training for professionals/teachers is preferable
  • Experience of drafting reports on any program activities, preferably on education programs
  • Proficient in writing and communicating in English
  • Good computer skills in writing report/presentation in excel, word and powerpoint 
  • Communication skills using gmail for email correspondence and organizing around it 
  • Should have an open mind in adopting newer technology in work environment 
  • Ability to work in a team accommodating other views
  • Ability to work under stress for meeting a deadline
  • Should have organizing (a program and event) ability 
  • Should possess pleasant inter personal skills
  • Coordinating all the trainings, workshops and seminars conducted by IQAC
  • As a member staff of IQAC, the Office Manager will maintain communication and coordination with the Heads and Members of all Self-Assessment Committees (SACs) of the university and external entities related to quality assurance activities
  • Drafting quality related manuals and other documents for IQAC
  • Gathering quality related data from difference sources, performing required processing, and drafting periodic reports
  • Developing formats, documents and tools as per the specifications suggested by QAU of UGC
  • Involving in all kinds of procurement activities for IQAC
  • Coordinating with the Accountant, Officer and other staff members of IQAC
  • Coordinating with the internal and external audit teams
  • Monitoring the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of different entities of the University and 
  • Any other activity the authority finds necessary
Centre for IT Services (CITS)
  • Graduation from any discipline as long as the person knows his/her job
  • Should have programming skills in PHP, C#, .Net, etc.
  • Must have thorough knowledge in HTML5, CSS, CSS3, Bootstrap development with responsive and legacy browser compliance
  • Knowledge of CMS like Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla
  • Work of graphics as necessary. Able to decorate the website with innovative photos captured by the webmaster himself/herself. Able to learn new technologies, tools, and techniques quickly and with minimal supervision
  • Be creative and imaginative
  • Good analytical, communication interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Fluency in written English is essential
  • Ability to work under pressure/Multi-tasking
  • Generate and revise web pages
  • Regulate and manage access rights of different users on website
  • Create and modify appearance/content of site
  • Decide how site's content will be delivered to the Internet
  • Manage websites and perform continual maintenance; this can include links, database, and other functions
  • Site promotion, e.g., Facebook, twitter, etc.
  • Create, design and manage multiple complex web sites supporting the overall University
  • Responsible for content and technical development, implementation and maintenance of sites, including dynamic web applications (e.g., ASP/PHP/Wordpress/Drupal), database interactivity, coordinating site links, and uploading material to servers
  • Consult with departments and end users for the latest content, ensuring that overall standards for appearance and usability are maintained for all websites within the area of responsibility
  • Follow up the ranking of webometrics and google search engine optimization in regular interval and improve the ranking by taking different means as necessary
  • Any other related task assigned time-to-time by the Department
