Manager, Reporting and Fundraising
The main purpose of this position is to raise and manage funds for BRAC International Agriculture, Poultry and Livestock Programme and manage the fundraising activities. The person has to develop fundraising proposals for different donors and developing effective and efficient procedures, systems, and tools for fundraising strategy will be a part of the job. Others responsibilities include:
Search and identify new donors
Prepare & contribute project proposals, concept notes, business plans where needed
Assist in preparing/ prepare periodic reports within internal term’s deadline after verifying and finalizing all the information and reports
Develop and maintain key contacts with different types of donors
Write funding proposals for new and existing projects in consultation with Programme Anchor of Agriculture, Poultry and Livestock
Responsible for update and maintain donor records
Maintain and work to an accurate personal work plan of scheduled fundraising activity and proposal submissions and ensure timely and accurate reporting to donors
Collect updated donor related information and analyze the data based on the submitted reports comparing with previous reported data from the projects
Report writing, proposal development skills
Good knowledge in MS Office application
Ability to work effectively in groups and independently; demonstrated initiative and creativity when solving problems
Experience with managing teams of culturally diverse employees
Proven track record of success in donor reporting, fund raising and data analysis
Ability to effectively present different types of report for a diverse range of audience
Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality. Needs to be seen as a team player that is committed to lifelong learning.
An effective communicator, with strong oral and written & presentation skills.
Strong commitment for developing and helping team members in various sectors.
Willing to travel both within and outside Country
Field level experience in development/ agricultural sector
Strong negotiation, interpersonal and organisation skills
Creativity and the ability to work with limited resources
Educational Requirements: Masters/Graduate degree in Agriculture/ Poultry and Livestock or any other discipline. Preference will be given to Graduate in Agriculture/Poultry and Livestock having degree in Business Administration. Experience Requirements: At least five years of relevant experience in Fundraising preferably in Agriculture, Poultry and Livestock, Livelihood Programme, Value Chain Development.
