Grants Programme Specialist
Based in Dhaka Salary ranging from 62,562.00 to 78,203.00

The position: Reporting to the Director Business Development, this post is needed to support the achievements of country grants target ensuring quality donor reporting on program performance for the Country Office, supporting up to date grant management and liaison with Nos (national organizations of Plan) and donors and ensuring donor compliance. Where required the position holder will support other team members for accurate and timely proposal packaging and submission as part of the departments ‘surge capacity’.
The major responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Ensuring National Offices (NOs)/Donors are satisfied with timely and accurate grant reporting, communication and compliance.
Ensuring up to date grants agreement documents/contract tracking and management according to standards.
Building the capacity of colleagues in Grants, Finance and Programme departments to ensure grant compliance and timely quality reporting
Sustaining collective achievements of Grants team by providing surge capacity in times of high workload/disasters.
Requirements: For this role the incumbent should have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar job preferably in an INGO along with knowledge of donor requirements. Managing corporate donors and foundation working approaches is preferred. Basic understanding of M&E is desired. You must also possess excellent writing skills with understanding of donor regulations and seek solutions to support project implementation, good quality analytical communication skills to work with donor and stakeholders. Highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skill, together with an ability to work under stressful situations are the additional requirements for this position.
