Revenue Assurance Senior Manager


Major Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise Revenue Assurance (RA) team to ensure smooth operation of RA system and controls; monitor and guide the team to check end to end call completeness controls and investigate integrity of subscriber profiles among the network elements against Switchs, Mediation, IN, Billing systems, etc. for comprehensive identification of gaps and anomalies and facilitate their resolution/closing in a timely manner; guide the team in identification of root causes to minimize future risks;
  • Oversee to ensure generated revenues and invoices are properly recognized in financial system at GL level;
  • Guide RA team on the timely risk identification, ensure detected risks are escalated to and mitigated by concern unit on time; quantification and measurement of lost revenue and savings; ensure lost revenue is recovered as much as possible;
  • Plan and advise the team to ensure new and existing product are error free through analyzing new product launched with no process to bill, unexpired product/service promotions; expired service or promotion no longer billable, unprofitable equipment sales/installation, low margin calls, APPM impact, Campaign Management Discounts Subscriber, business case validation;
  • Plan & coordinate with respective stakeholders to analyze and provide assessments against new/revise products or services to ensure the smooth & risk free launching of products; conduct post launch impact analysis to check Low margin calls, APPM impact, Campaign Management Discounts Subscriber for ensuring smooth rollout of products & services in alignment with the business case/plan;
  • Guide the team and assist with the preparation of monthly Revenue Assurance dashboard report for submission to management; act as a POC to facilitate requirements of the audit team (internal & external) and ITGC audit issue;
  • Regularly explore and suggest the improvement areas of RA controls in alignment with business plan and policies; propose and present plan to Management to seek approval for implementation; convert detective control to preventive controls; explore and identify appropriate controls to map the revenue risks;
  • Guide the team to conduct regular analysis of commission structure, retailers’ performance , subscribers performance and acquisition to detect the cost leakage into the sales commission structure/modality; Propose the improvement areas to marketing into the commission scheme; Perform business case validation for offering new commission to ensure the cost effectiveness of sales channels, guide the team to validate every commission items for ensuring commission are disbursed to eligible retailer/distributors with no cost leakage;
  • Guide the trend analysis of revenue sharing with third parties and propose necessary adjustment;
  • Ensure staff are equipped with the requisite knowledge; identify training requirements to develop subordinates; manage performance of direct reports through objective setting, continuous support and feedback, and formal appraisal; provide guidance to employees for their development and career planning.
Required Academic Qualifications

  • B.Sc in Computer Science or, equivalent
Required Experience

  • Total 5-6 years of experience in the relevant field within which 2-3 years of managerial experience
Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of telecommunication products and service;
  • Thorough knowledge of telecom network elements;
  • In-depth knowledge on Revenue Assurance and risk management;
  • Solid understanding on Revenue Operations and Financial System;
  • Hands-on experience on database and MS Office suits;
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
