Job Description / Responsibility

  • Reviews IT, operational and business risks, functions and activities, and evaluates client relations in order to determine and recommend nature, scope, direction and thrust of proposed audits. Designs audit procedures to execute the annual audit plan, assess controls and to meet audit objectives.
  • Acts as liaison for internal management, external auditors, and business associates, may be required to testify in Central Bank.
  • Prepares reports for internal and external company executives. Summarizes audit objectives, scope, findings, conclusions and management response. Conducts oral and written presentations to all levels of management, as appropriate, during and upon the completion of audits. Ensures audit summary is prepared within established deadline.
  • Recommends revisions to audit procedures to enhance efficiencies. Reviews internal controls throughout the company by evaluating the adequacy of system controls and recommends improvements.
  • Performs testing and walk through procedures to determine company compliance on IT Governance and approved IT process and policies: reviews and analyzes the control structure, performs walk through and testing procedures, documents testing results that are reviewed by external auditors, and communicates results to the process owners.
  • Facilitate to implement process and policies for the organization and ensures they are followed by respective stakeholders.
  • Consults with and recommend respective system owners and working groups on various issues related to information systems, and on general business operations as needed.
  • Evaluates the adequacy and timeliness of management`s response and the corrective action taken on significant audit recommendations.
  • Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
  • Manage and maintain proper escalation and communication protocols. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science/ Management Information System/ Information and Communication Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)/ Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years` experience in related fields and at least 3 years of experience directly in IT Audit, Compliance, Security and IT Governance.
  • Preferred:
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems or equivalent education.
  • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or, ISO 27001 Lead Auditors.
  • Advance Knowledge of DFS/ MFS, Bank(s), NBFI(s) and/or public auditing policies, standards, and procedures.
